Job Title : Senior Associate/ Associate

Role Purpose
Plan and execute audits in the development sector—including external, internal, project, program,
grant, forensic, HACT micro assessment, and spot check assignments—with limited involvement in statutory audits. with limited involvement of statutory audits and tax compliances of Indian entities, if feasible.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver external, internal, and donor-funded audit and assurance engagements,
including HACT, procurement, and agreed-upon procedures.
- Perform audit fieldwork by examining records, testing transactions, verifying balances, and assessing internal controls in line with international standards and firm methodology.
- Prepare and review audit working papers and schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
- Identify and assess financial, compliance, and internal control risks, documenting findings with supporting evidence.
- Liaise with clients to obtain information, clarify audit issues, and support timely engagement completion.
- Prepare audit reports and management letters with practical recommendations to improve controls and governance.
- Supervise and review junior staff work, providing guidance to ensure quality and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with auditing and accounting standards, ethical requirements, and firm policies.
- Support engagement management by tracking timelines, coordinating activities, and resolving routine issues.
- Participate in special assignments,
as required to travel nationally and internationally for performing above responsibilities as per need.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. Having other qualifications in addition to CA is an additional advantage.
- It should be 0-5 post-qualification years of experience for Associates and minimum 5 postqualification years of experience for Senior Associates, especially in the fields of audit and assurance activities in development sectors/ NGO etc.
