Role Summary
At Pelsis, we're transforming the way we manage our rapidly growing global ecommerce business, and we're looking for a Channel SIOP Lead to help shape that journey.
This is a newly created role within our Ecommerce Centre of Excellence, responsible for leading the end-to-end Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process across our ecommerce channel. You'll ensure the right products are in the right fulfilment centres, at the right time, while balancing inventory investment, customer service and landed cost.
Working across commercial, supply chain, procurement, logistics, finance and Amazon operations, you'll create a single, integrated plan that supports business growth, improves operational performance and drives continuous improvement. This role also offers the opportunity to build and develop a high-performing planning team as we continue to scale globally.
How You'll Make an Impact
Lead our Ecommerce SIOP Process
- Own and lead the monthly end-to-end SIOP cycle, bringing together demand, supply, inventory and financial planning.
- Facilitate demand, supply and executive review meetings to ensure one aligned operational plan.
- Drive cross-functional decision making to resolve supply risks and inventory challenges.
Deliver Best-in-Class Demand & Supply Planning
- Develop accurate demand forecasts using marketplace data, commercial insight, promotions and new product launches.
- Build supply and replenishment plans that maximise product availability while optimising inventory investment.
- Improve forecast accuracy through structured analysis and continuous review.
Optimise Inventory Performance
- Own inventory planning across Amazon FBA, AWD and third-party fulfilment centres.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels while reducing excess stock, stock-outs and obsolete inventory.
- Improve working capital, inventory health and overall supply chain performance.
Coordinate Global Logistics Execution
- Work closely with suppliers,
freight providers and Amazon Global Logistics to ensure products move efficiently through the supply chain.
- Manage shipment readiness, booking windows and international logistics to minimise delays and maintain service levels.
- Proactively identify and resolve supply chain risks before they impact customers.
Drive Planning Excellence
- Develop and embed standardised planning processes, governance and playbooks that support scalable ecommerce growth.
- Improve planning systems, master data and reporting to enable better decision making.
- Champion continuous improvement across planning, replenishment and inventory management.
Lead Through Data
- Monitor and report key operational KPIs including:
- Forecast Accuracy
- Product Availability
- OTIF
- Inventory Value
- Days on Hand
- SLOB
- Landed Cost
- Working Capital
- Present business performance, risks and improvement plans to senior leadership.
Develop High-Performing Teams
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Inventory Management Analysts.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear planning standards and governance across the Ecommerce Centre of Excellence.
What You'll Bring
Essential
- Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years' experience in supply chain planning with at least three years leading an end-to-end SIOP/S&OP; process.
- Strong experience across demand planning, supply planning and inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, FBA and AWD.
- Experience managing international logistics, ocean freight and import/export operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory optimisation including safety stock, lead time planning and ABC/XYZ segmentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Proven experience leading and developing planning teams.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally in both written and spoken English while collaborating with international teams.
Desirable
- Experience working within a global Ecommerce Centre of Excellence.
- Knowledge of Amazon Global Logistics (AGL).
- APICS, CPIM, CSCP or equivalent supply chain qualification.
- Experience supporting international ecommerce operations across multiple regions.
