Research Analyst

Required Expertise

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial services, a research house, or broking house
- MBA, CFA Level 2, CFA, or any graduate degree with additional market research qualifications

- Responsibilities

Research &

- Analysis

- Conduct detailed research on multiple financial products within agreed turnaround timelines, including Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Services, Bonds/FDs, Real Estate, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, and other insurance products
- Track and understand trends in the macro economy, both domestic and global
- Design, maintain, analyse, and present model portfolios
- Write research reports on multiple products and asset classes within agreed turnaround timelines
- Develop house views and market outlooks within agreed turnaround timelines

Stakeholder Engagement





- Hold regular meetings with Asset/Fund/Portfolio Managers and Product RMs to stay updated on markets and products
- Participate in weekly meetings to share macro views on global/local economies and financial markets, along with relevant personal finance trends, news, and events
- Share research and investment updates with clients and internal teams through ongoing presentations

Content &

- Communication

- Create content for client and team communications, including newsletters, website content, social media posts, blogs, case studies, and articles
- Coordinate with marketing consultants for necessary content inputs
- Coordinate with content writers for effective dissemination of research content to clients
- Update the website, blog, and social media platforms to showcase research content

Support &

- Coordination

- Assist the planning team with portfolio recommendation inputs and client queries related to planning and portfolios
- Maintain research software, including housekeeping and evaluation of new tools
- Maintain research calendars and schedule research projects

Product Development

- Source and develop new products, manage tie-ups, and lead initiatives to introduce new products, services, packages, or solutions
