About the Role : We are looking for a responsible and trustworthy Cashier to manage day-to-day cash transactions, employee wage payments, petty cash, and payments to our regular vendors. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling cash, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with employees and vendors, and ensuring that every payment is properly documented. Key ResponsibilitiesHandle and maintain daily petty cash and cash balances.

Disburse daily/weekly wages to employees and labourers as per approved wage sheets. Make payments to regular vendors and suppliers as authorized by management/accounts. Maintain proper records for every cash payment and collect supporting bills, vouchers or acknowledgements.

Prepare daily cash book / cash position and reconcile physical cash with records. Verify payment requests against approved bills, wage sheets and supporting documents. Maintain employee wage payment records and obtain signatures/acknowledgements wherever required.

Coordinate with the Accounts team for payment approvals and accounting entries.



Follow up with vendors regarding bills, outstanding payments and payment confirmations. Ensure that no payment is made without proper authorization.

Maintain confidentiality regarding company finances, employee wages and vendor payments. Assist the Accounts team with basic data entry, filing and reconciliation work. Report any cash discrepancy, duplicate payment, unauthorized request or suspicious transaction immediately to management.

Requirements 1–3 years of experience in cashier, accounts, petty cash or similar role.

Experience handling cash payments, labour wages and vendor payments is preferred. Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets . Good numerical and record-keeping skills. Ability to maintain accurate documentation. Honest, responsible and highly trustworthy. Positive communication skills in Tamil and basic English .

Experience in a manufacturing, construction, transport or similar industry will be an advantage.
