: CAD Engineer – Creo /n Position: CAD Engineer – Piston Design /n Location: Bangalore /n Experience: 3 to 8 Years /n Industry: Automotive / Powertrain Engineering /n Job Summary /n We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with experience in Piston Design and strong proficiency in PTC Creo. The ideal candidate should have a background in the Automotive Industry, preferably in powertrain or engine components, and be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing piston components while ensuring compliance with quality, performance, and manufacturing requirements. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of piston components using PTC Creo.
/n
- Design and develop pistons, piston rings, and related engine components as per customer and project requirements.
/n
- Perform design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&T; implementation.
/n
- Coordinate with CAE, manufacturing, quality, and testing teams during product development.
/n
- Support new product development and engineering change management activities.
/n
- Ensure designs comply with automotive standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing feasibility.
/n
- Participate in DFMEA, design reviews,
and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
/n
- Prepare technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, and engineering change requests.
/n
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams for prototype and production support.
/n /n Required Skills /n /n
- Solid experience in PTC Creo (3D Modeling & Drafting).
/n
- Experience in Piston Design and engine component development.
/n
- Good understanding of GD&T;, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
/n
- Knowledge of automotive product development processes.
/n
- Experience with engineering drawings, BOM management, and change control processes.
/n
- Understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, and forging.
/n
- Familiarity with DFMEA, APQP, and quality standards.
/n /n Preferred Qualifications /n /n
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
/n
- Experience in automotive powertrain, engine, or piston manufacturing industry.
/n
- Exposure to PLM tools such as Windchill will be an added advantage.
/n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
/n
