Job Summary A Business Head for a Global Access Program in the pharmaceutical industry is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of a company's initiatives to ensure access to medicines for patients around the world, especially in low- and middle-income countries.This role combines business leadership with a deep understanding of market access, pricing, and health policy.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the overall strategy for the Global Access Program, aligning it with the company's long-term business and social responsibility goals.
- Develop partnerships with international NGOs, institutions, and global healthcare organizations.
- Lead business development initiatives to expand global access footprint.
- Design, launch, and manage patient access mechanisms, such as patient support programs, compassionate use programs, and managed access programs.




- Drive operational excellence to ensure flawless and compliant execution of all access programs globally
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, including payers, governments, NGOs, distributors, and patient advocacy groups
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team responsible for the execution of global access programs.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, licensing, and import/export requirements.
- Oversee financial planning, pricing models, and sustainable program growth.
- Collaborate with supply chain, commercial, and regulatory teams for effective execution.

Requirements Qualifications and skills

- Master’s degree in Business, Public Health, Pharmacy, or related field (MBA/MPH preferred).
- 12+ years of experience in pharma with 5+ years in access or emerging markets leadership.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, global healthcare access, or pharmaceutical distribution.
