About Nexvia
Nexvia (nexviatech.in) is a small software company in Hyderabad that builds web, mobile and desktop products for Indian businesses. Our main product is Nexvia Books — an app that plugs into TallyPrime and puts a business owner's books on his phone: live outstanding and receivables, automatic WhatsApp payment reminders, GST invoices, e-Invoice and e-Way bills, bank reconciliation, field-force ordering, stock and collection reports, cloud backup of his Tally data. Our customers are Tally-using wholesalers, distributors, traders and manufacturers across India.
You would work directly with the founder.
The role
This is a remote, technical sales job, open across India. Work from your own city — we do not care where you sit, as long as you are online 10:00 to 19:00 IST.
We generate leads through Instagram and Facebook ads and they land on WhatsApp. You own everything after that: pick up the lead, understand the business, demo the product, start a 7-day free trial, convert to a paid annual subscription, then keep that customer and renew them.
The part that matters most: our buyers ask real technical questions. "Will this break my Tally?" "My data is on a server, will it sync?" "Can it do e-Way bills for a multi-godown company?" You must understand the product deeply enough to answer correctly, in the customer's own language, without checking with anyone. A wrong answer here costs us a customer and our reputation.
Our subscriptions run ₹2,500 to ₹19,500 per year. We win on speed and on being the person who actually knows the answer.
What you will do
- Answer every inbound lead within minutes, on WhatsApp and phone. Speed is our single biggest lever.
- Qualify hard. Our product is for businesses already running TallyPrime. Disqualify bad fits fast and politely instead of chasing them for a week.
- Run screen-share demos on video call — you drive the real app, not a slide deck.
- Answer technical questions accurately: Tally versions, data paths, sync, GST, e-Invoice, e-Way bill, WhatsApp limits, pricing and what each plan does and does not include.
- Set up the trial and hand-hold the customer through week one. Deals are won or lost here.
- Close the annual subscription and collect payment.
- Own the existing customers — onboarding, check-in calls, add-ons, renewals.
- Collect product feedback and write it up clearly enough for the founder to act on it.
- Log every lead and every conversation in our CRM. If it is not in the CRM, it did not happen.
- Report weekly: leads, demos, trials, conversions, revenue, and why we lost the ones we lost.
What you must have
There are only five. Meet these five and apply — we will teach you the rest.
- You are genuinely comfortable with software. You learn a current app by opening it and clicking, you can read a settings screen, follow a set-up guide, take a screen recording, and explain a technical thing in simple words. You do not need someone to sit next to you.
- You speak fluent Hindi and fluent English. Both, not one. Hindi is the language our market trades in; English is how you handle a technical conversation, an email and a CRM note.
- You have sold something to another business, or you have supported business customers on a product — face to face, on the phone, or over WhatsApp. Strong freshers with a real story are welcome.
- You know the basics of Tally. You do not have to be an accountant, but you must know your way around TallyPrime — what a company, a ledger, a voucher and an outstanding report are, and where to find them. Our entire product sits on top of Tally, and you cannot sell it or support it without that. If you have used Tally in a job, in a family business or even in college, that counts.
- You have a laptop, a smartphone and a stable internet connection at home, and you can work 10:00–19:00 IST, Monday to Saturday.
What helps, but is not required
Do not self-reject over any of these. Missing all of them is fine.
- Telugu, on top of Hindi and English. A big part of our customer base is in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,
so this is a real advantage — but it is not a requirement.
- One to four years in B2B sales, pre-sales, technical support or customer success.
- Having sold or supported software, SaaS or annual subscriptions.
- Deeper accounting knowledge — GST returns, e-Invoice and e-Way bill rules, or how a trader actually closes his books.
- Having worked with wholesale, trading, distribution or manufacturing customers.
- Comfort living inside WhatsApp, and the discipline to log everything in a CRM.
- Clean written English for emails, CRM notes and customer follow-ups.
What we are really looking for
You can share your screen with a 55-year-old business owner, walk him through his own pending payments inside our app in Hindi, then switch to English the moment his accountant or his IT person joins the call — and be taken seriously by both. You learn a product by using it, not by waiting for training. When you do not know an answer, you say so and come back with the right one the same day.
This is not for you if
You need a fixed script, a manager checking on you every hour, or a salary that does not move with your results. This is a young company. You get real ownership and a direct line to the founder, but you will build the process, not inherit it.
Compensation
- ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month fixed, based on experience and on how well you know your way around software
- Plus 10% of every first-year subscription you close (minimum ₹500 per customer), uncapped
- Plus ₹5,000 monthly bonus on hitting target
- Internet and phone reimbursed
- Fully remote, from anywhere in India
How to apply — two steps, both matter
- Apply here on LinkedIn.
- Send a 60-second WhatsApp voice note to +91 81850 89740, in English or Hindi, about the toughest sale or the toughest customer problem you ever handled. No script.
Shortlisted candidates then get a login to our live demo app and a short guide, and we ask for one 2-minute screen recording: open the product and explain any one feature the way you would explain it to a customer. That recording is how we hire.
I read every application, but voice notes get answered first. This job is done on a phone and a screen — so show me you can do both.
