Role Overview

DXFactor is looking for a Business Analyst with 3–5 years of experience working in an IT services or product-based company. The ideal candidate should have experience interacting with clients, understanding business requirements, preparing functional documentation, and coordinating with development and cross-functional teams.

The candidate should be able to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and support the project throughout its development and delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Interact with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Conduct requirement-gathering and requirement-elicitation sessions through meetings, interviews, workshops, and discussions.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)
- User stories
- Use cases
- Process flows
- Acceptance criteria
- Meeting notes and requirement traceability documents
- Coordinate with development, design, quality assurance,



and project management teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, review meetings, demonstrations, and project status discussions.
- Manage and track requirements, tasks, user stories, and project updates using tools such as Jira or similar project management platforms.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and potential improvements in business processes and proposed solutions.
- Support the development team by providing requirement clarifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review completed features and ensure that delivered solutions meet the agreed business requirements.
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparing test scenarios and tracking feedback.
- Maintain timely and accurate communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in prioritising requirements and initiatives based on business impact, urgency, and project timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation, follow-ups, and timely completion of assigned deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT services or product-based company.




- Hands-on experience interacting directly with clients and business stakeholders.
- Robust understanding of requirement gathering, requirement analysis, and documentation.
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and other functional documents.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear and structured requirements for development teams.
- Experience coordinating with software development, quality assurance, design, and project management teams.
- Working knowledge of Jira or similar task and project management tools.
- Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation, documentation, planning, and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related productivity tools.
- Strong ownership and a consistent track record of following through on commitments..

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on client-facing software development projects.
- Exposure to project coordination or project management activities.
- Familiarity with wireframing, workflow mapping, API concepts, or database fundamentals.
- Experience working with international clients would be an advantage.
