Role Description The Boiler Desk Engineer (DCS Engineer) is a full time, on-site role based in Banswara, responsible for monitoring and controlling boiler operations through Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The role involves overseeing process parameters, starting and shutting down boilers safely, and adjusting controls to maintain optimal efficiency and reliability. Daily tasks include diagnosing operational issues, coordinating with maintenance and electrical teams,



and ensuring safe operation of instrumentation and control systems.

The engineer will document operating conditions, support preventive maintenance schedules, and adhere to safety, environmental, and compliance standards. Collaboration with plant operations staff to improve system performance and support energy efficiency initiatives is also expected.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Process Control and Control Systems Design for boiler and utility operations.
- Hands-on experience in Troubleshooting control loops, alarms, and DCS-related issues.
- Knowledge of Instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, and field devices.
- Background in Electrical Engineering related to power, motors, panels, and industrial equipment.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in boiler operations, thermal power plants, or process industries is highly beneficial.
- Understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and energy efficiency practices.
- Ability to work in shifts, respond effectively in emergencies, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using industrial control software, data logging tools, and basic MS Office applications.
