Senior Business Analyst - Insurance | Small Commercial Lines We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Insurance domain and Small Commercial Lines to join a global insurance-focused technology and consulting organization.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years of Business Analysis experience and 8 years of insurance domain experience, with a robust understanding of the end-to-end insurance value chain, including Submission, Quotes, Policy Bound, Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, and Reinsurance.

The role involves working closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, BAs, testing teams, and technology teams to define requirements, manage product backlogs, create user stories, drive UAT, and ensure successful delivery of high-value insurance solutions.

Location: Noida/Gurugram/Bangalore/Pune

Responsibilities

- Support the Product Manager in defining product vision and roadmap,



ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, including user stories, features, tasks, and other requirements.
- Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, clarify requirements, resolve queries, and provide guidance throughout sprints to ensure high-value feature delivery.
- Review completed deliverables against acceptance criteria and own UAT, ensuring delivered features meet business expectations and are ready for release.
- Collaborate with BAs and testing teams to develop functional and regression test suites, maintain RTM/FSD/change request documentation, and mentor junior BAs while contributing to value-add initiatives.

Requirements

- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a reputed Information Technology organization.
- 8 years of experience in the Insurance domain, with strong understanding of the complete insurance value chain including Submission, Quotes, Policy Bound, Policy Administration, Claims, Billing, and Reinsurance.
- Prior experience working with international clients, with strong exposure to Small Commercial Lines and multi-vendor solution delivery environments.
- Strong documentation and requirements management skills, including experience with RTM, FSD, Change Requests, product backlogs, query logs, feature documentation, and user stories.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and result-oriented approach, with the ability to work collaboratively across business, product, testing, and technology teams.
