Job Title: Automation Intern

We’re hiring an Automation Intern to build cross-platform automation workflows, AI agents, and internal tooling that move data and actions across the systems we use every day - Google Workspace, internal APIs, and third-party SaaS.

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes building things fast, figuring things out independently, and working on practical engineering problems.

What You’ll Work On

- Building Python automations and internal tools that connect multiple platforms end-to-end
- Designing AI agents that read, write, and update files across the Google Workspace stack (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Calendar) and other SaaS tools
- Configuring and integrating Backstage APIs end-to-end auth, endpoints, plugin wiring, and production deployment
- Working with APIs and structured/unstructured data
- AI-assisted workflows, research pipelines, and agentic task automation
- Data cleaning, enrichment, and processing
- Light web scraping and browser automation where needed
- Database integrations
- Supporting production workflows and experiments

Skills We’re Looking For

Must-have:

- Python




- Comfort working with REST APIs and OAuth-based auth flows
- Robust debugging and problem-solving ability
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently

Good to have:

- Experience building agentic workflows (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs, MCP)
- Comfort with AI agentic platforms like OpenClaw, n8n, or similar agent runtimes / orchestrators
- Google Workspace APIs (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail) or Apps Script
- Backstage or similar developer portal / internal tooling experience
- FastAPI / Flask
- PostgreSQL or SQL basics
- Docker
- Playwright or Selenium for occasional scraping / browser automation
- Comfort using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) effectively
