Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automation Engineer role based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The Automation

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain industrial automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA and HMI solutions, to support digital transformation projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing control strategies, configuring and testing automation hardware and software, diagnosing and resolving automation issues, and optimizing existing processes for reliability and efficiency.



The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation with industrial IoT platforms, edge devices, and AI/ML-enabled analytics.

The Automation

Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, support commissioning and acceptance testing, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cybersecurity s tandards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Automation and Process Control skills, including experience with PLC/SCADA systems and control logic design.
- Candidates should possess practical Electrical Engineering skills, such as understanding electrical circuits, instrumentation, and industrial safety standards.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues in automation systems, field devices, and control networks.
- Relevant experience with industrial IoT, edge computing, and integration of automation with data platforms is beneficial.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled optimization, data analytics, or digital twins in industrial environments is an advantage.
- Robust analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
