As an Assurance - Risk Modeling Services - Life Technical – Associate 2, you will engage with clients to develop and validate models that assess and manage financial and operational risks effectively. Within our Assurance practice, you will contribute to enhancing trust and confidence in financial and non-financial information. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work.

You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support senior staff, engage in research, and participate in project tasks. You will develop basic skills and knowledge, respond effectively to diverse perspectives, and use a broad range of tools to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will also interpret data to inform insights and recommendations, uphold professional and technical standards, and embrace ambiguity as opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

- Conducting complex data analysis to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns
- Developing and implementing risk models to assess and manage financial and operational risks
- Utilizing statistical analysis software to support data-driven decision-making processes
- Engaging in financial risk analysis to evaluate uncertainties and forecast potential outcomes
- Collaborating with team members to enhance financial modeling techniques and methodologies
- Presenting financial reports to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making
- Supporting the validation of risk model implementation to provide insights into potential risks
- Participating in strategic forecasting to anticipate market developments and resource needs
- Applying actuarial science principles to assess risk in insurance and finance sectors
- Contributing to the development of statistical models for predictive data analysis

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Economics, Other related fields of study
- At least 1 year of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
