Purpose & Overview:

- Proposal Developer (PD) is a pre-sales role, wherein PD supports Global Sales Team. PD manages and drives entire RFP (Request for Proposal). This is not a client facing role.
- PD will be involved in preparing strategic & competitive budgets and proposals for clients, following IQVIA standard process for customers across the globe. PD will work with internal stakeholders to deliver the proposal in a timely manner to client.
- Individual should be quality conscious and should ensure that budget & proposal is being prepared keeping in mind quality as an upmost priority and making sure all IQVIA defined procedures are followed.

Responsibilities:

- Review & analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP) received from Global Sales Team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders by scheduling and facilitating internal meetings based on RFP requirements.
- Establish proposal milestones and communicate same with internal stakeholders to make sure that RFP is delivered in a timely manner to customer.
- Prepare text and budget for proposals, rebids and related documents, using IQVIA defined tools and based on inputs received from internal stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate review and finalization of RFP based on IQVIA’s defined proposal process.
- Perform quality control edits on all documents and participate in the finalization of documents and distribution to the customer and internal departments.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Should have knowledge of CRO Industry & should be able to understand work culture of IQVIA.
- Advanced Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as PD role is deadline driven.
- Highly organized and should possess or eventually develop strong multitasking skills as PDs handle multiples RFPs at a time.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across IQVIA,



pro-active and effective communication is a master skill for a PD role.
- Should have independent work ethics with the ability to deliver in a virtual workplace.
- Ability to interpret RFPs and protocols upon training.
- Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.

Minimum Required Education & Experience:

- Degree in Life Science, Business Management or related field and a minimum of 0 - 1 year of direct experience in Proposals.
- Industry specific clinical operations experience or equivalent combination of advanced education, training and experience.

Physical requirements:

- Extended working hours at times to cater to client deliverables.
- Prolong screen time.
- Extensive use of Teams for communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
- Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
