Company Description
Joshiz is a patient-capital holding company that builds, acquires, and grows exceptional businesses for the long term. Its portfolio spans venture capital, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, consulting, brands, research and development, and media, offering team members exposure to diverse industries and business models. Rather than optimizing for quarterly returns, Joshiz backs ambitious ideas and supports exceptional teams committed to creating enduring value.
Guided by patient ownership and disciplined execution, the company leverages its private ownership structure to make independent decisions and focus on sustainable growth.
Role Description The Associate plays a direct role in supporting the evaluation, development, and growth of businesses across Joshiz's portfolio. You'll work on high-impact projects that matter to strategic decisions: conducting market research that informs whether to pursue a recent venture, analyzing the competitive position of a portfolio company, preparing presentations for leadership on investment opportunities, and tracking metrics that show whether a business is scaling effectively.
Your day-to-day responsibilities span conducting structured market and financial research, analyzing investment and partnership opportunities, preparing concise reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and special projects within portfolio companies. You'll also maintain organized documentation, develop dashboards that track key metrics, and contribute to process optimization efforts that help businesses operate more efficiently.
What sets this role apart is the scope of exposure you'll gain. You'll see how venture investments are evaluated,
how manufacturing businesses run, how consulting engagements work, and how portfolio companies scale. You'll learn the business fundamentals that most early-career professionals take years to understand, compressed into a role where you're directly supporting real decisions.
As you develop, your responsibilities will expand, creating a natural path toward more analytical or operational roles.
