Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor (Pharmacy) role based in Jalandhar.

The Assistant

Professor will deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in pharmacy-related subjects, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing learning materials, supervising laboratory work, and mentoring students in academic and professional development. The role involves conducting and guiding research projects, participating in academic committees,



contributing to curriculum enhancement, and supporting student assessment and evaluation processes.

The Assistant

Professor will also engage in departmental activities, industry interaction, and continuous improvement in teaching methods and subject expertise.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) from a recognized institution; Ph.D. in a relevant pharmacy discipline is preferred.
- Solid teaching abilities in core and specialized pharmacy subjects, with experience in delivering lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials.
- Research aptitude, including experience in academic research, publications, project supervision, and participation in conferences or workshops.
- Proficiency in using educational technology, learning management systems, and basic IT tools to support teaching and assessment.
- Effective communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills, with a student-centric and inclusive approach to education.
- Familiarity with pharmacy education regulations, accreditation requirements, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to institutional activities, and engage with industry and professional bodies.
