Role Summary

Policybazaar is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager – Term Insurance to lead and drive field sales operations in Darbhanga. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Life Insurance / Term Insurance sales, proven team-handling capabilities, and a consistent track record of achieving business targets through effective leadership and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Field Sales Executives to achieve assigned business targets.
- Drive sales performance and ensure consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the Term Insurance business across the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews to improve team productivity.
- Manage day-to-day field sales operations and ensure effective execution of business plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor team performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration across Darbhanga.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, operational processes, and regulatory guidelines.





Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Insurance Sales.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and managing Field Sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of Life Insurance / Term Insurance sales and field sales operations.
- Proficiency in Hindi is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Maithili will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of the Darbhanga/Bihar market and local customer landscape.
- Willingness to work in a target-driven, field-based sales setting.
