Role Description The Area Business Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tamil Nadu, India. This role is responsible for driving business growth in the assigned region, including achieving sales targets for home loans, loans against property, and construction finance. Daily activities include overseeing branch performance, guiding and mentoring sales teams, and ensuring high-quality customer service and compliance with internal and regulatory norms.

Head will analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop local strategies to expand the customer base. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams,



monitoring portfolio quality, and preparing regular performance reports for senior management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in housing finance, banking, or financial services with responsibility for regional or area-level business growth.
- Strong skills in sales management, team leadership, and performance monitoring to drive targets and motivate staff.
- Ability to analyze markets, identify business opportunities, and implement effective local strategies.
- Competence in customer relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Solid understanding of lending processes, credit assessment principles, and regulatory compliance in the Indian housing finance sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Comfort with data analysis, reporting, and use of relevant digital tools or CRM systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and local languages of Tamil Nadu, with robust ethical standards and customer-centric approach.
