Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Architect role based in Mumbai.

The Senior

Architect will lead end-to-end architectural design and solution planning for complex business and technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with client strategy and SMARTANK’s consulting standards.

Responsibilities include defining architecture blueprints, overseeing software development approaches, and ensuring robust integration between systems and platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, guiding project execution, managing technical risks, and providing architectural governance throughout the project lifecycle.

The Senior

Architect will mentor junior team members,



contribute to best practices and frameworks, and support pre-sales and client presentations with explicit, well-structured solution designs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills to define scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including experience with modern development frameworks, coding standards, and review practices.
- Candidates should possess Integration skills, with hands-on experience in APIs, middleware, and connecting heterogeneous systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and deliver architectural initiatives within scope, time, and budget.
- Proven experience as a Senior Architect or equivalent leadership role in technology or consulting environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in enterprise, cloud, or solution architecture, with familiarity in industry-standard methodologies and frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Experience mentoring teams and contributing to architectural best practices and standards is highly beneficial.
