Role Description The AR Caller role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The AR Caller will be responsible for making outbound calls to insurance companies and other payers to follow up on outstanding claims, resolve denials, and secure timely payments. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient accounts, analyzing explanation of advantages (EOBs), updating account statuses in billing systems, and documenting all interactions accurately and clearly.





The role involves coordinating with internal billing and coding teams to address discrepancies, verify coverage, and escalate complex issues when necessary. The AR Caller is expected to meet productivity and quality targets, adhere to compliance and confidentiality standards, and contribute to a collaborative, performance-driven work setting.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, medical billing, and revenue cycle management practices.
- Effective communication skills, including clear spoken English, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to handle payer conversations confidently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing claims, posting information, and documenting follow-up activities.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with billing software, spreadsheets, and electronic health records systems.
- Ability to work in a structured on-site workplace, manage time effectively, and meet defined productivity and quality goals.
- Prior experience in AR calling, medical billing, or healthcare RCM operations is preferred but not always required.
- Knowledge of US healthcare insurance, common denial reasons, and payer policies is an added advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in commerce, business, or healthcare-related fields is beneficial.
