Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Air Freight Pricing and Quotations Specialist. The specialist will prepare accurate and competitive air freight quotations, analyze carrier rates and surcharges, and maintain up-to-date pricing records for key trade lanes. Daily tasks include liaising with airlines and consolidators, coordinating with internal sales and operations teams, and responding to customer quotation requests within established timelines.

The role involves monitoring market trends, fuel surcharges,



and capacity changes to adjust pricing strategies and ensure profitability. The specialist will also help improve quotation processes, support bid and tender responses, and contribute to reporting and margin analysis related to air freight pricing.

Qualifications

- Air freight and logistics expertise, including knowledge of international air cargo operations, rate structures, and industry terminology.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills to compare carrier tariffs, calculate margins, and interpret market data for pricing decisions.
- Customer service and communication skills to manage quotation requests, clarify requirements, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and pricing tools, TMS/FMS or freight forwarding systems, and general IT literacy to work efficiently in a digital environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent quotations, maintain accurate records, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Experience in freight forwarding or logistics pricing roles; prior exposure to air freight and CargoWise or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate sound judgment, and adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
- Relevant education in logistics, business, supply chain management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in the industry.
