Summary:

UST is looking for an experienced IAM/AI Engineer to design, implement, and operate AI-driven identity and access management solutions. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in IAM, PAM, automation, and AI technologies to build intelligent workflows that automate identity governance and security operations while ensuring strong compliance, security, and human oversight.

This role is suited for someone who has practical experience building and deploying AI-powered products from concept to production and understands how AI, security, governance, infrastructure, and user experience come together to create enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Identity Automation

- Design and develop intelligent, agentic workflows to automate identity lifecycle and governance processes, including:
- Access requests and approvals
- Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) scenarios and exception handling
- Access certifications and entitlement reviews
- Policy enforcement and compliance validation
- Build scalable automation using APIs, connectors, scripts, and workflow orchestration tools.

AI-Powered Access Governance & Risk Analytics

- Leverage AI/ML capabilities to analyze identity, entitlement, privileged access, and activity data.
- Recommend access decisions and approval actions based on contextual risk analysis.
- Detect anomalies, excessive privileges, toxic combinations, and high-risk access patterns.
- Provide actionable insights to improve governance and security posture.

IAM, PAM & ITSM Integration

- Integrate AI agents with enterprise IAM platforms, PAM solutions, and ServiceNow.
- Orchestrate end-to-end identity operations across multiple systems and business processes.
- Enable seamless interoperability using APIs, event-driven architectures, and automation frameworks.

Human-in-the-Loop Governance





- Establish governance controls and guardrails for AI-driven decision-making.
- Ensure sensitive IAM, PAM, and Non-Human Identity (NHI) operations require appropriate human review and approval.
- Maintain accountability, transparency, and auditability across automated workflows.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

- Continuously refine AI workflows using operational metrics, audit findings, incident trends, and user feedback.
- Improve workflow efficiency, decision accuracy, and user experience through iterative enhancements.

AI Security, Compliance & Data Governance

- Ensure AI-driven workflows comply with organizational security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement controls for identity data protection, privileged access governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Support audit, risk management, and compliance initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience Identity & Access Management

- Robust understanding of IAM, IGA, PAM, RBAC, ABAC, JML processes, access certifications, and entitlement management.
- Experience with enterprise IAM and PAM platforms.

Automation & Integration

- Hands-on experience with APIs, scripting, connectors, workflow automation, and system integrations.
- Experience integrating IAM, PAM, ITSM, and related security platforms.

AI & Agentic Systems

- Practical experience building and deploying AI-powered solutions in production environments.
- Exposure to:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Copilots and AI Assistants
- Agentic AI workflows
- AI/ML-based decision-making systems
- Strong understanding of modern AI product architecture, including:
- LLMs
- Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Security and governance controls
- Infrastructure and deployment considerations
- User experience design

Governance & Security

- Knowledge of AI security, compliance, privacy, and data governance practices.
- Ability to implement responsible AI controls within enterprise identity ecosystems.

Preferred Profile





- Proven experience taking AI solutions from concept to production ("0 to 1" product development).
- Ability to bridge IAM domain expertise with modern AI technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in enterprise-scale security environments.
