About the Role

We are looking for a strong, responsible, and highly organized Agency Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our agency and ensure that teams, projects, clients, and business targets are managed effectively.

The Agency Manager will oversee a team of approximately 15 members across different functions and will work closely with the management to ensure smooth operations, employee accountability, project delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can identify problems, make decisions, manage people, follow through on execution, and take ownership rather than waiting for instructions.

The ideal candidate may come from a strong background in HR, Sales, Marketing, Web/App Development, or Digital Marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, or SEO), but proven leadership and team-management ability are essential.

Key Responsibilities1. Agency Operations & Daily Management

- Take ownership of the agency's day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all departments are functioning efficiently and according to company objectives.
- Assign, coordinate, and monitor tasks across teams.
- Track whether assigned work is completed on time and to the required standard.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and resolve them proactively.
- Establish and maintain effective internal processes and workflows.
- Ensure employees are accountable for their responsibilities and targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings and operational reviews.
- Maintain visibility over ongoing projects, deadlines, deliverables, and priorities.
- Escalate major issues and strategic decisions to management when required.

2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and manage a team of approximately 15 employees across multiple functions.
- Set clear expectations, responsibilities, priorities, and performance standards.
- Monitor individual and team productivity.
- Ensure employees meet assigned targets and deadlines.
- Identify underperformance and take corrective action.
- Motivate, mentor, and guide team members to improve their performance.
- Resolve internal team conflicts and workplace issues.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with HR regarding recruitment, employee performance, disciplinary matters, and other people-related requirements.

Note: A separate HR function will handle core HR responsibilities; the Agency Manager will be responsible for ensuring team discipline, performance, and operational accountability.

- Project & Delivery Management

- Monitor all ongoing client projects across departments.
- Ensure projects are progressing according to agreed timelines.
- Coordinate between Sales, Digital Marketing, SEO, Web Development, App Development, and other teams.
- Identify delays or quality issues before they become client problems.
- Ensure proper handover of projects from Sales to the relevant execution team.




- Ensure project priorities are clearly communicated to the respective teams.
- Maintain overall visibility of project status and delivery.

4. Client Management
- Act as a senior point of contact for important and high-value clients.
- Participate in key client meetings and discussions when required.
- Understand client requirements and ensure internal teams execute accordingly.
- Handle escalations, complaints, and routine client issues professionally.
- Ensure clients receive timely updates and quality service.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to improve client retention and revenue.

5. Sales & Business Development Support
- Support and guide the Sales team in achieving monthly targets.
- Review lead generation, follow-ups, conversions, and sales pipeline.
- Ensure sales executives are actively following up with prospects.
- Participate in important sales calls and negotiations.
- Assist in closing high-value or strategic deals.
- Review proposals, quotations, and presentations when required.
- Identify gaps in the sales process and implement improvements.
- Track overall sales performance and revenue contribution.
- Encourage the team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

6. Financial & Business Performance Monitoring
- Monitor overall revenue performance against business targets.
- Track sales, collections, project performance, and major operational expenses.
- Monitor project profitability and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with management regarding financial performance and business priorities.
- Ensure timely follow-up on pending client payments in coordination with the relevant team.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare regular performance reports for management.

7. Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in existing systems and workflows.
- Create and implement SOPs, checklists, reporting systems, and accountability mechanisms.
- Improve communication between departments.
- Introduce systems that reduce dependency on constant management supervision.
- Use data and performance reports to make operational decisions.
- Continuously improve the agency's productivity, service quality, and internal processes.

8. Management Reporting The Agency Manager will provide regular reports to management covering:
- Team performance
- Sales performance
- Lead generation and conversions
- Project status
- Client issues and escalations
- Revenue and collections
- Employee productivity
- Operational challenges
- Key achievements
- Areas requiring management attention

The expectation is that management should have clear visibility of the business without having to constantly follow up with individual employees or departments.

The Agency Manager will be evaluated based on:

You do not need to be an expert in all of these areas. However, you should have sufficient understanding of digital agencies and their workflows to effectively manage teams working across different functions.

Within the role, the Agency Manager should gradually take ownership of the agency's daily functioning so that management does not need to:

- Handle routine client issues
- Personally chase the sales team for follow-ups
- Coordinate every department individually

Instead, the Agency Manager should provide clear visibility, accountability, and solutions, escalating only matters that genuinely require management's involvement.

Compensation & Growth

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000/month, based on experience and capability.

Education

Bachelor's degree required.
