About the Role

We are looking for an Admissions Counsellor to guide prospective students and parents through the admissions process. The role involves counselling students, explaining programs and career opportunities, following up with leads, supporting campus visits, and helping convert eligible applicants into enrolled students.

The ideal candidate should be confident, patient, target-oriented, and comfortable speaking with students and parents in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents about the institution, programs, eligibility, fees, scholarships, placements, hostel facilities, and admission process.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp enquiries, emails, and online leads.
- Understand each student’s academic background, interests, and career goals, and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up regularly with leads and maintain proper communication until admission closure.
- Maintain accurate lead status, follow-up notes, and admission records in CRM/Google Sheets/admission systems.
- Coordinate campus visits, counselling sessions, application completion, document collection, and fee payment follow-ups.
- Support admission events, open houses, seminars, education fairs, school/college outreach, and orientation activities.




- Build trust with students and parents through clear, honest, and helpful communication.
- Coordinate with the admissions, marketing, academic, accounts, and hostel teams wherever required.
- Achieve weekly and monthly admission targets while maintaining service quality.

Required Skills

- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Basic understanding of undergraduate/postgraduate admissions, preferably in management, commerce, IT, or related programs.
- Ability to explain program value, placements, career outcomes, and institutional strengths clearly.
- Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, WhatsApp communication, and CRM/Google Sheets.
- Target-oriented, disciplined, and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Professional, patient, persuasive, and empathetic.

Eligibility

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1–4 years of experience in admissions, counselling, education sales, student recruitment, tele-counselling, or related roles preferred.
- Freshers with robust communication skills and interest in education counselling may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with colleges, universities, edtech companies, training institutes, or education consultancies.
- Familiarity with MBA, PGDM, BBA, BCA, or other higher education programs.
- Knowledge of CRM tools, Google Workspace, and basic Excel/Sheets.
- Ability to speak Kannada is preferred.
