Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. In this position, the counselor will guide prospective learners or clients through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, explaining program offerings, and providing clear information on eligibility and requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, maintaining accurate records of interactions, following up on leads, and supporting applicants in completing necessary documentation.

The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to coordinate outreach activities,



participating in events or presentations when needed, and consistently delivering a professional and supportive experience for all prospective candidates.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to effectively engage with diverse applicants and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in customer service to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide a positive admissions experience.
- Sales-related skills to manage leads, convert inquiries into admissions, and meet enrollment targets ethically and transparently.
- Background or interest in education to understand program structures, learning pathways, and academic requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
- Comfort with basic computer applications, CRM or admissions systems, and email communication tools.
- Prior experience in counseling, admissions, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional certifications in counseling, sales, or education are an advantage.
