Role Description The Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based at the Taiyari Karo Academy center in Preet Vihar, Delhi. The counselor will interact with prospective students and their families, provide detailed information about courses, admission procedures, and exam preparation pathways, and guide them in selecting suitable programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling walk-in and phone inquiries, following up on leads, maintaining admission records, and coordinating with faculty and management to ensure a smooth enrollment process.

The role involves conducting counseling sessions,



explaining fee structures and policies, supporting students through registration and documentation, and contributing to outreach activities such as seminars or webinars.

The Admission

Counselor will also collaborate with the marketing team to share feedback from students and help improve communication and student experience.

Qualifications

- Robust communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to counsel students and engage with families effectively.
- Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple inquiries, maintaining records, and meeting admission targets.
- Customer service and relationship-building skills to create a positive experience for prospective and enrolled students.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheets, and CRM or admission management tools.
- Ability to understand and explain various competitive exams, course structures, and career pathways (prior education sector experience is an advantage).
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing student queries and concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education counseling, administration, or sales is preferred.
- Comfort with on-site work in Preet Vihar and flexibility to work during peak admission periods, including weekends if required.
