Role Description The Accounting Assistant role at Shri Bhagwati Logistics is a full-time, on-site position based in Thane.

The Accounting

Assistant will support daily accounting operations, including maintaining and updating ledgers, assisting with bookkeeping, and helping prepare and review basic financial records.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.



The role also involves working with accounting software to enter and verify data, coordinating with other departments to resolve billing or payment issues, and ensuring that documentation is accurate, organized, and compliant with internal policies.

The Accounting

Assistant will report to senior finance team members and contribute to smooth, timely financial processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to support day-to-day transactional work and basic analysis.
- Experience with Bookkeeping and maintaining accurate ledgers and records in a structured workplace.
- Ability to assist with Financial Statements, including preparation support, review of data, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and related tools; familiarity with ERP or logistics-related systems is an advantage.
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Good numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operational and logistics teams.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or warehousing finance operations is preferred but not mandatory.

In hand Salary: Rs.15000 to 25000 PM + PF
