Role Description The Accountant at Swabha is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations. Typical tasks include maintaining accurate ledgers, recording daily transactions, processing invoices and payments, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves preparing periodic financial reports, assisting with budgeting, tracking expenses, and supporting tax and regulatory compliance.

The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to ensure timely financial insights that support smooth running of homestay services.



This position requires consistent on-site coordination with local stakeholders and adherence to internal controls and financial policies.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Excel) and ability to generate clear financial reports.
- Valuable understanding of budgeting, expense tracking, taxation basics, and local financial regulations.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a systematic approach to documentation and record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, management, and external vendors.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in hospitality, property management, or service-oriented businesses is beneficial.
