About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team on a fully remote basis. This role involves working closely with Canadian clients, handling various accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, tax support, and client communications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Canadian or US accounting environments and possess a strong understanding of international accounting standards.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Canadian bookkeeping, tax filings, and compliance processes while working from the comfort of your home. The role is structured around a fixed night shift (IST), providing a secure work schedule that aligns with North American business hours, with occasional in-person training sessions at our Noida Sector 62 office for NCR-based candidates.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Candidates with CA Inter qualification or those who have completed articleship are encouraged to apply. Prior experience of 1-3 years in accounting, especially within Canadian or US firms, is highly preferred.





Candidates with full night-shift work experience from India will have an added advantage. You must own a reliable laptop or desktop with high-speed internet connectivity to perform your duties efficiently. While candidates from NCR regions such as Noida, Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Gurgaon are preferred, applicants from other parts of India must be willing to travel occasionally to our Noida office for training sessions.

Responsibilities The key responsibilities of this role include managing bookkeeping and bank reconciliations using tools like Excel and QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You will support GST/HST/PST filings, payroll taxes, and corporate tax preparations, assisting clients with compliance requirements. Preparing financial statement working papers and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes are also vital aspects of the role.

Additionally, you will handle payroll processing, client onboarding, and maintain professional communication with clients via email and phone, ensuring high standards of service and responsiveness. Collaborating with team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to Canadian accounting standards is essential to success in this position.

Tools & Skills

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatory, along with strong skills in Excel and MS Office applications. A working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards is required to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are essential,



particularly the ability to understand and communicate with Canadian and American clients effectively.

The candidate should be comfortable with diverse accents and professional in all client interactions. Familiarity with Canadian tax laws and experience working in a remote environment will be considered advantageous.

Educational Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field is required. Candidates with professional certifications such as CA Inter or those who have completed articleship will be given preference, as these qualifications demonstrate a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
