Role & responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for BDP.

- Maintain and manage accounts on Zoho Books.

- Handle invoicing, receipts, payments, expenses, vendor bills and bank reconciliations.

- Track accounts receivable/payable and follow up on outstanding payments.

- Maintain project-wise income, expenses, advances and profitability.

- Prepare and monitor weekly/monthly cash-flow statements.

- Manage financial documentation including POs, work orders, invoices and vendor records.

- Track additional works, variations and project settlements.

- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis for management.

- Support the founders in setting and monitoring financial targets and business performance.

- Coordinate with CA/consultants for GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance.

- Identify discrepancies, cash-flow concerns and opportunities for better cost control.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in Accounts / Finance / Commercial Management.

- Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books is essential.

- Good understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing,



reconciliations and accounting principles.

- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.

- Experience in a project-based business, interiors, construction, architecture or manufacturing is an advantage.

- Comfortable with project costing, cash-flow management and financial analysis.

- Proactive, organised and detail-oriented with a high level of ownership.

- Ability to work directly with founders and independently manage the accounts function.

- Looking for someone interested in growing with BDP and eventually taking greater responsibility for the finance function.
