Accounts Manager – Hospitality

Location: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh

Salary: Up to ₹70,000 CTC per month

Experience: Minimum 5 years in Hospitality Finance & Accounts

Managerial Experience: Minimum 4 years in a managerial/supervisory role

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager from the Hospitality industry to manage the Finance & Accounts function of our luxury hospitality operation in Shimla.

Candidates with relevant Hospitality/Hotel/Resort Finance experience will be preferred. Candidates from other industries are not encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Finance & Accounts operations of the hotel/resort.
- Prepare monthly MIS, financial reports and management dashboards.
- Handle hotel revenue reconciliation, including Rooms, F&B; and other operational revenue.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor payments and collections.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts and Budget vs. Actual analysis.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and daily financial controls.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal, statutory and tax auditors.
- Monitor departmental expenses and identify cost-control opportunities.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of PMS/POS revenue with accounting records.




- Lead and supervise the Accounts team and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Provide accurate financial insights and reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com in Commerce or Finance is mandatory.
- CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Finance & Accounts experience in the Hospitality industry.
- Minimum 4 years of managerial/team-handling experience.
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, revenue reconciliation, MIS and financial reporting.
- Experience with hotel PMS/POS and accounting/ERP systems.
- Robust knowledge of Advanced MS Excel.
- Good analytical, reporting, leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently working with or having experience in reputed Hotels, Resorts or Luxury Hospitality properties.
- Strong exposure to Hotel Finance, Revenue Accounting, MIS and Cost Control.
- Should be capable of independently handling the Finance & Accounts function.
- Candidates who can analyse financial data and present meaningful reports to senior management will be preferred.
