Role Description The Academic Counselor role at Al Fahad Enterprises is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Academic

Counselor will guide students through their academic and career paths, helping them understand available programs, course options, and progression requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing students’ interests and strengths, and recommending suitable academic and career opportunities. The role involves coordinating with educational institutions and internal teams, maintaining accurate student records, and preparing reports to track progress and outcomes.

Counselor will also support workshops, information sessions, and outreach activities to ensure learners receive clear, reliable guidance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Student Counseling and Academic Advising skills to support learners in making informed educational decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related expertise to guide learners toward realistic and rewarding career paths.
- Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications in counseling are an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic or career counseling, student services, or education management is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrate empathy, and maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
