: 4G/5G Network Element Platform Software Lead / Architect

Experience: 5+ Years

We are looking for an experienced 4G/5G Network Element Platform Software Lead / Architect with strong hands-on expertise in the design, development, optimization, debugging, and deployment of Linux-based platform software for 4G/5G RAN and Core Network Elements. The candidate should have deep knowledge of telecom networking, high-performance packet processing, hardware acceleration, and cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, debug, and deploy 4G/5G Network Element Platform software.
- Develop and optimize Linux-based bare-metal and virtualized platform solutions.
- Work on high-performance packet processing using DPDK, VPP, DOCA, SR-IOV, RDMA, OVS/OVN, XDP and eBPF.
- Design scalable, resilient, low-latency, deterministic, and highly available systems.
- Perform root-cause analysis for packet loss, NUMA issues, interrupt storms, VF attachment, pod networking, and time-synchronization issues.
- Lead technical reviews, mentor platform software teams, and drive large-scale 4G/5G platform development and customer-support programs.

Mandatory Skills





- 5+ years of 4G/5G Platform Software Development experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with working knowledge of Python
- Strong experience with Linux system/platform programming
- Hands-on expertise in DPDK, VPP, SR-IOV, RDMA, OVS/OVN, XDP/eBPF and DOCA
- Experience with SmartNIC, DPU, FPGA, ASIC, SoC, GPU or Network Processor-based acceleration
- Robust knowledge of 4G/5G RAN, Core Network and O-RAN
- Networking expertise in Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, SCTP, GTP-U, CPRI/eCPRI and PTP
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and containerized network platforms
- Strong understanding of multi-process and multi-threaded software design
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, CI/CD, and build environments.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of O-RAN Fronthaul, xHaul transport and synchronization
- Understanding of BGP, MPLS, EVPN, OSPF, IPsec and IKEv2
- CNCF Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift certification
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performance platform engineering teams.
