Roles & Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting
• Monthly Closing & Bookkeeping: Handling end-to-end accounting operations and ensuring accurate bookkeeping and the strict and timely monthly closing of books across all entities.
• Portfolio & Corporate Accounting: Oversee end-to-end accounting functions for the family office, including the tracking and valuation of listed equities, unlisted startup stakes, and alternative investments.
• MIS & Budgeting: Prepare comprehensive monthly Management Information Systems (MIS) reports. Actively manage and track budgets versus actuals as part of the monthly MIS review.
• Investment software: All assets to be updated in the M-Profit software

Banking and Wealth Managers Operations
• Liquidity Tracking: Conduct a daily check of bank balances and overall liquidity across all entities to ensure readiness for capital deployment and operational needs.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain excellent, highly responsive relationships with bank Relationship Managers (RMs).
• Transaction Execution: Ensure the seamless, secure, and prompt execution of all domestic and cross-border fund transfers.
• Wealth Manager Coordination:



Coordinate effectively with external wealth managers, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure accurate tracking and alignment with the family's investment strategies.
• Account & KYC Maintenance: Proactively oversee account health, ensuring all bank, demat, and investment accounts remain active (preventing dormant status) and that all KYC documentation is rigorously updated across all institutions.
• Strategic Execution: Facilitate the operational execution of investment decisions, ensuring timely settlement of trades and capital calls for startup portfolios.

Compliance & Corporate Governance
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, including MCA, SEBI, and RBI/FEMA (specifically regarding cross-border transactions and equity holdings).
• Tax Strategy & Management: Reviewing TDS workings, deductions, payments, and return filings. Managing GST workings, reconciliations, input credit tracking, and compliance related activities. Manage all direct and indirect tax matters, with a strong emphasis on capital gains, corporate tax planning, and TDS. Coordinate with external tax advisors to optimise the family's tax position.
• Entity Management: Oversee the legal and secretarial compliance for complex, multi-entity shareholding structures.
• Audit Management: Lead and coordinate all statutory, tax, and internal audits, ensuring zero compliance gaps.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Qualified CA Inter / B. Com / M. Com or relevant finance qualification.
• 5–10 years of experience in Accounts, Finance and compliance.
• Prior exposure to AIF, NBFC, Investment Firms, Financial Services, or Fund Accounting; family office experience will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of TDS, GST, Payroll Processing, Accounts Payable, and statutory compliances.
• Strong Liaison with Bankers, Wealth managers, vendors, etc.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (latest Tally Version) and advanced MS Excel.
• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a quick-paced and deadline-driven environment.
