A founding-team chance to build AKD Advanced Materials’ global commercial business from the ground up, working directly with the Founders and senior leadership, with ESOP/equity eligibility for exceptional candidates and enhanced compensation for those bringing an established customer network or order book.
The Role
We are looking for an ambitious commercial professional to establish and scale our Sales & Business Development function across India and international markets.
Our initial portfolio includes:
Titanium | Nickel | Cobalt | Tungsten | Molybdenum | Specialty Steels | Superalloys | Specialty Metals | Composition-specific Alloys | Scrap & Residues
Key Responsibilities
Build a high-value B2B order book from the ground up.
Develop customers across Aerospace, Defence, Space, Energy, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Engineering and advanced manufacturing industries.
Map customers, applications, grades, specifications and procurement requirements.
Identify new materials, markets and product opportunities.
Develop domestic and international/export sales.
Build relationships with OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 manufacturers, distributors and industrial buyers.




Develop strategic sourcing and supplier relationships.
Drive pricing, negotiations, margins and commercial strategy.
Ideal Candidate
5–15 years of relevant B2B sales/business development ex
perience.Exper ience in speci ality metals, alloys, advanced materials, industrial raw materials or related sectors.MBA p
referred; IIM, IIT, Ivy League or other leading institutions will be an advantage.Stron
g technical and commercial understanding of high-value materials.Aeros
pace, defence, energy or international customer relationships highly desirable.Expor
t sales experience and an established order book/customer network are a major advantage.Entre
preneurial mindset with the ability to build a business independently.
