Chartered Accountant, Compliance Advisory (Client Engagement)

Why this role exists

Our advisory practice sits at the intersection of regulatory compliance and applied technology, serving clients across automotive, aerospace, infrastructure, and the public sector, including work delivered under government empanelment. We are looking for a Chartered Accountant who has lived inside compliance long enough to advise on it with conviction, and who is ready to own client relationships rather than sit behind them.

What you will own

Advisory delivery

• Compliance advisory engagements spanning statutory, regulatory, and data protection obligations, including DPDP readiness assessments and remediation roadmaps

• Evidence packs, gap assessments, policy documentation, and audit-ready deliverables that hold up to client and regulator scrutiny

• Financial and eligibility review on government tenders and empanelment submissions, including turnover certification and qualification criteria

Client management

• Named ownership of a portfolio of client accounts,



from scoping through delivery to renewal

• Running client conversations at CFO, compliance head, and promoter level with the composure those rooms require

• Proposal development, commercial structuring, and scope discipline across engagements

• Surfacing adjacent opportunities within existing accounts, working closely with the founder on the ones worth pursuing

What we are looking for

• Qualified CA with 4 to 8 years post-qualification experience, ideally with time in a Big Four, boutique advisory, or CA firm setting

• Demonstrated compliance ownership across multiple regulatory regimes, with the confidence to give a clear recommendation under uncertainty

• Direct client-facing experience, including difficult conversations about scope, timelines, and findings

• Familiarity with DPDP, data protection, or information security frameworks is a strong advantage

• Exposure to government tendering, PSU clients, or empanelment processes is valued highly

• Writing quality that a client would forward internally without editing
