Role: SAP ABAP on HANA AI Native Tech Talent
Experience: 4+ Years
Must Have: SAP ABAP Development for HANA Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize ABAP on HANA solutions using HANA pushdown principles.

- Build data models using CDS Views, associations and annotations.

- Develop performance-critical solutions using AMDP / SQLScript.

- Design and expose SAP services using OData and APIs.

- Integrate SAP solutions with cloud and non-SAP systems.

- Build AI-enabled SAP capabilities using LLMs, RAG, tool calling and retrieval grounding.

- Implement AI evaluation, guardrails, authorization and monitoring.

- Follow clean coding, testing, CI/CD and production-readiness practices.

Must-Have Skills
- Robust hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.

- Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP and SQLScript.





- Strong understanding of HANA pushdown and performance optimization.

- Experience with OData/API development and integrations.

- Exposure to LLM integration, RAG, AI agents or tool orchestration.

- Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- SAP security and authorization concepts.

- Cloud/SAP integration platforms.

- Performance benchmarking and observability.

- Experience building governed and production-ready AI solutions.
