* Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
* Obtain quotations and conduct commercial evaluations.
* Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
* Ensure timely placement and follow-up of purchase orders.
* Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on procurement
requirements.
Supplier Management
* Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
* Evaluate supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and cost.
* Support supplier qualification and onboarding activities.
* Identify alternate suppliers to reduce supply risk.
Compliance & Reporting
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
* Maintain procurement documentation and records.
* Track open purchase orders and supplier commitments.
* Generate procurement reports and savings trackers.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience
* 2-3 years of experience in indirect procurement within a manufacturing
environment.
* Experience handling MRO, services, and indirect spend categories.
