Job Description

Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience

- 3–8 years of experience in power distribution projects

- Experience in state utility / DISCOM projects preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Supervision and execution of LT/HT power distribution works

- Planning and monitoring of 33kV / 11kV lines, substations, and distribution networks

- Inspection and quality control of electrical installations as per approved drawings

- Coordination with contractors, vendors, and utility authorities

- Preparation and review of BOQ, DPR, and technical reports

- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and project specifications

- Site progress monitoring and reporting to project management

- Support in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems

Knowledge & Skills





- Knowledge of Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd. (APDCL) standards

- Understanding of IS codes, CEA regulations, and safety norms

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Preferred Skills

- Experience in government / PSU power projects

- Familiarity with GIS-based distribution systems (added advantage)

- Valuable communication and coordination skills
