The Prospect
As a Principal Technical Consultant,



you will assume architectural leadership for multi-application platform design, execution, and performance optimization. Top engineering talent joins Appian in this role to move beyond basic application maintenance and ensure applications are resilient, scalable, and built to power mission-critical operations at enterprise scale .
What You’ll Do
Architect Platform Scalability: Build and maintain standards and tools to ensure high performance and resilience with a focus on reusability, schema optimization, data modeling, system performance, and responsive UX/UI.
Engineered Integrations: Perform hands-on design, development, and code reviews using SQL views, stored procedures, and high-concurrency REST/SOAP web services/APIs.
System-Level Troubleshooting: Rapidly isolate performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, resource contention, and latency spikes across the entire web application stack.
