Role Description
The Business Development Manager – General Insurance will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and expanding the client base across individual, SME, corporate, and MNC segments.



This role involves meeting prospective and existing clients, understanding their risk and coverage needs, and recommending suitable general insurance solutions in coordination with internal teams. The manager will maintain and grow key accounts, negotiate terms with insurers and clients, prepare proposals, and ensure timely follow-up to close business. Daily activities include market research, pipeline management, reporting sales performance to leadership, and collaborating with underwriting and operations teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and renewals. This is a full time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or any graduation; professional insurance certifications are a plus, preferably a “Broker Qualified Person”.
Proven experience in general insurance sales or business development, with strong knowledge of general insurance products and risk management concepts.
