Virginia-Georgia Transformer is looking for passionate and technically strong Mechanical Design Engineers to join our engineering team and work on high-impact Power Transformer Design projects.

Mechanical Design Engineer – Level 1 / Level 2 / Level 3 I Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - L1 / L2
Locations: Vadodara | Hyderabad | Delhi I Bangalore
Experience: 4 + years
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do
Design and develop mechanical components for Power Transformers.
Apply principles of mechanics, strength of materials, thermal and vibration analysis.
Prepare accurate 2D/3D engineering drawings using CAD tools.
Develop and maintain detailed BOMs.
Design and review transformer structures, fabrication drawings and mechanical assemblies.




Validate designs against customer specifications, engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and other cross-functional teams.
Deliver design activities within project timelines and quality requirements.
Support continuous improvement and contribute to standardization of transformer designs.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
4+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
Experience in Power Transformer / Transformer Mechanical Design is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of CAD tools, mechanical calculations, fabrication drawings and BOM preparation.
Understanding of thermal analysis, vibration analysis, material properties and structural design.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering workplace.
