Job Description About the Role n Scrapio is a MoRTH-registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF). We buy accidental, damaged and end-of-life vehicles and recover value from them through parts salvage and material recycling. n We are hiring a Vehicle Valuation Specialist who can stand in front of a wrecked or dead vehicle and answer one question accurately: what is this vehicle worth based on what we can actually recover from it? n This is a hands-on, yard-and-field role. It is not a desk, audit or supply-chain role. n Mandatory Requirement — please read before applying n You must have personally valued or purchased accidental, salvage, used or end-of-life vehicles. Applications without direct exposure to salvage, dismantling, accidental vehicle assessment or used-vehicle buying will not be shortlisted. n What You Will Do n n Physically inspect accidental, damaged and end-of-life vehicles at our facility and at seller locations. n Arrive at a buying price for each vehicle based on recoverable parts, scrap weight and expected realisation. n Assess accident severity, structural and chassis damage, mechanical condition and missing components. n Identify and price high-value salvageable parts — engine, gearbox, ECU, catalytic converter, alloy wheels, injectors, body panels, electricals. n Estimate ferrous and non-ferrous material recovery by vehicle type, weight and condition. n Decide whether a vehicle is a parts case, a scrap case,



or both — and defend that call commercially. n Maintain inspection and valuation records for every vehicle assessed. n Work daily with the procurement and dismantling teams, and support negotiation with sellers. n n Who We Want n n 3+ years in vehicle valuation, salvage buying, accidental vehicle assessment, automobile dismantling, RVSF operations, motor insurance surveying, body shop estimation, or used-car inspection. n Working knowledge of the automotive spare-parts and salvage markets, including current scrap rates. n Ability to read mechanical and structural damage without diagnostic equipment. n Sound commercial judgement — you understand that a valuation is a buying decision, not a report. n Comfortable with physical inspection, yard conditions and travel across Rajasthan/NCR. n Own vehicle and valid driving licence preferred. n n Qualification n Diploma or ITI in Automobile/Mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Practical experience will be given solid preference over qualification. Candidates from dismantling yards, salvage trading and parts markets are encouraged to apply even without a formal qualification. n Preferred Background n Salvage auction buying, insurance total-loss disposal, RVSF or dismantling operations, used-parts trading, accidental repair estimation, or used-car inspection and valuation (Cars24, Spinny, Droom, OLX Autos, CarDekho or similar). n Apply:
