Job Description – Application Support Engineer

About the Role:

We are hiring an Application Support Engineer to provide front-line technical support for the tax, accounting, and workflow applications used across the organization. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring business users can work without interruption, issues are resolved quickly, and support processes follow ITIL standards.

The candidate must have hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following applications:

* Drake – Professional tax preparation n software for individual and business tax filings

* Lacerte – Intuit skilled tax software for complex individual and business returns

* QuickBooks – Accounting and bookkeeping platform for client financial management

* Transaction Pro – Data import/export utility for QuickBooks and accounting transactions

* UltraTax – Thomson Reuters tax compliance and preparation software





* CCH Axcess – Wolters Kluwer cloud-based tax, audit, and accounting workflow platform Key Responsibilities

* Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and resolution for Drake, Lacerte, QuickBooks, Transaction Pro, UltraTax, and CCH Axcess.

* Log, track, and manage incidents, service requests, and problems through to resolution using the ITIL framework.

* Communicate proactively and clearly with end users, tax/accounting teams, and vendor support teams.

* Follow ITIL standards for Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request management.

* Maintain knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures for supported applications.

* Monitor application health, perform routine checks, and assist with updates, patches, and deployments.

* Escalate complex or critical issues with accurate, well-documented information.
