About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Exhibition Sales & Business Development Lead to take ownership of the sales and business development function for an upcoming international exhibition in Dubai.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the B2B exhibitions and events business, has strong business development instincts, and can build a sales pipeline, develop new opportunities and convert relationships into exhibitors, sponsors and commercial partners.
The immediate mandate is to drive the commercial growth of our upcoming exhibition, while identifying opportunities to scale it into a larger and more valuable industry platform.

What You Will Do
Own the exhibition's sales strategy, pipeline and revenue targets.
Identify and develop new exhibitor, sponsor and commercial partnership opportunities.
Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline across relevant industries and markets.
Research and identify new sectors, brands and businesses that could participate in the exhibition.




Personally lead prospecting, meetings, presentations, negotiations and closures.
Develop customised commercial proposals and sponsorship packages.
Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, industry bodies and strategic partners.
Identify opportunities to expand the exhibition's commercial proposition beyond traditional exhibition space.
Develop recent ideas for sponsorships, partnerships, industry programmes and other revenue-generating opportunities.
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and provide regular updates on sales performance.
Work closely with the Project Head and senior leadership on commercial strategy, pricing, key accounts and major negotiations.
Establish a disciplined sales process and, as the business grows, help build and manage a sales team.
