Role Overview
We are looking for an AVP – Engineering who brings strong leadership experience along with exposure to multiple technology stacks, including Java, .NET, cloud platforms, and contemporary databases. This is a technology-agnostic leadership role, focused on engineering excellence, system scalability, and building high performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership & Delivery
• Lead multiple engineering teams across backend, frontend, and platform groups.
• Drive the design and delivery of scalable SaaS systems using Java, .NET, and cloud-native architectures.




• Translate business requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps.
• Ensure engineering best practices across coding, architecture, testing, performance, DevOps, and security.

Technical Strategy & Architecture
• Provide architectural guidance across services built using Java and .NET stacks.
• Oversee the design and optimisation of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Drive cloud strategy and adoption across AWS/Azure/GCP for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate new technologies and tools that improve engineering velocity and product performance.

People & Culture Leadership
• Mentor engineering managers, architects, and senior engineers; build a strong leadership pipeline.
• Develop a culture of ownership, innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
• Drive hiring, competency building, and career development across the engineering organisation.
