About the role
As Director, Software Engineering you will build and lead the engineering teams behind Neo's products,
own their architecture and delivery, and work directly with Bhavin on multiple zero-to-one builds.
We are proponents of leveraging best-in-breed AI tools at every step of the engineering lifecycle — design, development, review, and testing. This requires a different engineering mindset: a lean team of senior, hands-on, AI-adept engineers, resulting in ultra-rapid iteration cycles and quick output. You will own, oversee, and set the bar for this approach across your teams, from design through to production. You'll run this with a small group of senior contributors rather than a large one, and you're expected to stay hands-on enough to make architecture calls and read the code your teams and their agents produce.
