Job Description Summary: The Accountant (P2)



performs general accounting activities to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of Iron Mountain’s financial records. This role requires a solid working knowledge of accounting disciplines to prepare journal entries, perform ledger reconciliations, and actively manage transactional activities, including Accounts Payable (AP) ledger monitoring and inventory reconciliations. Operating with a moderate level of guidance, the successful candidate will work on accounting assignments of moderate scope, exercise sound judgment to actively analyze and resolve problems, and collaborate with global, remote teams across multiple time zones in a shared service, matrixed environment.
Key Accountabilities
Core Accounting & Ledger Maintenance: Prepare and book journal entries and complete balance sheet reconciliations to support accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
