We have survived the last 7 years (started in 2016) without this company description, but recently we were asked to make one as it is required as per the norm (similar to the least visited “Privacy Policy” and “Terms & Conditions” thing) to hire peeps to work with us. So here is what you should know “about us”:

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site internship for a Graphic Design Intern at ComicSense, located in the Hidden Hills of Dehradun. You will be working on ad creatives, social media posts, banners, email graphics, product mockups and occasionally actual merch design concepts. You'll be researching what's working visually in the anime and streetwear space and translating it into stuff that fits our brand — which is loud, referential, and unapologetically otaku.

Things you should know to work with us:
Solid grip on Photoshop and Illustrator. Figma or Canva knowledge is a plus for quick turnarounds.
Understanding of layout, typography and hierarchy — knowing why a design feels cheap vs. clean




Ability to design for different formats: 1:1 feed posts, 9:16 stories, ad creatives, website banners
Basic knowledge of print/production files for merch (bleed, DPI, CMYK vs RGB) is a big plus
Ability to mock up designs on apparel and tapestries so we can see it before it exists
Strong attention to detail. Misaligned edges and stretched logos should physically hurt you.
Ability to work fast and iterate — we ship a lot, and not everything needs to be a masterpiece
Weebs who have wasted a sh*t ton of there lives watching anime are preferred. You should know the difference between a Jujutsu Kaisen fan and a Bleach fan aesthetically.
