About the Role n
We are looking for an Engineer – Technology Transfer with strong hands-on experience in agrochemical formulations, process scale-up, and plant integration .
n
This is a highly execution-oriented role for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of R&D;, manufacturing, and contract manufacturing partners — taking processes from the laboratory to commercial production and solving technical challenges on the ground.
n
What you’ll work on n
End-to-End Process Scale-Up
n
n
- Oversee the R&D; process from laboratory scale through commercial production.
n
- Work closely with R&D; teams on process optimisation, modifications, and pilot-scale trials.
n
- Lead scale-up from commercial pilot to plant-scale implementation, ensuring technical feasibility and process reliability.
n
n
Plant-Scale Integration
n
n
- Work with manufacturing teams to optimise plant processes.
n
- Troubleshoot technical and operational challenges during scale-up and production.
n
- Ensure successful technology transfer and reliable implementation at manufacturing sites.
n
n
Job Work Site Management
n
n
- Act as the primary liaison with contract manufacturing partners.
n
- Manage day-to-day operations and resolve on-ground manufacturing challenges.
n
- Oversee raw material receipt, in-process quality checks, and finished goods dispatch.
n
- Represent Atomgrid on-site while ensuring process integrity and confidentiality.
n
- Track manufacturing trends, capacity utilisation, and new developments across key regions.
n

⚙️ Plant Operations & Manufacturing Oversight
n
n
- Oversee day-to-day plant and project activities across manufacturing sites.
n
- Ensure manufacturing activities follow Atomgrid’s Standard Operating Procedures.
n
- Track and report plant operations data on a daily basis.
n
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deviations and share findings with management.
n
- Support commissioning and manufacturing activities across India.
n
n
What we’re looking for n
n
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in agrochemical formulations manufacturing.
n
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or an agrochemicals-related field .
n
- Strong exposure to contract/job-work manufacturing setups for herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
n
- Good understanding of agrochemical formulation processes, particularly EC, SC, WP, and WG .
n
- Familiarity with plant operations, technology transfer, and plant operation documentation .
n
- Ability to prepare and manage plant operation reports, BMR documentation, and site assessment reports .
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
n
- Dynamic, goal-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A genuine “go-getter” attitude and willingness to travel extensively across India.
